One year ago, in the middle of a rare warm summer day in San Francisco, The Harpoons were born. Equipped with a bassoon, a harp, a song and boundless enthusiasm, they went straight to San Francisco’s public proving grounds (aka the subway) to test their new product.
Three weeks later they debuted on the stage of the famous Great American Music Hall and the rest is history.
Everywhere we go, we hear the same thing: The Harpoons have a sound like none other. Truly, we are breaking new ground - from seeking and arranging music to developing a repertoire that reaches into realms beyond classical, this duo is unprecedented.
